With colleague and friend Kylie Koscoe, Timothy has been commissioned to write a play based on the stories of Edgar Allen Poe. "The realities of Poe himself are as mysterious as the stories he wrote for his readers. I have long been intrigued by this great American writer and look forward to creating a educational and entertaining portrayal of Edgar Allen Poe", says Timothy D. Turner, playwright. The play will blur the lines between Poe's reality and the stories he related. The characters of the stories will reveal themselves one by one as actually people in Poe's life. The play will be one of three presented on tour for students for the 2005-2006 Storybook Repertoire Theatre Season. The Storybook Theatre Company has a proven reputation of fine theatrical and educational presentations for schools throughout Volusia, Lake & Seminole counties. This upcoming season marks the first year of a repertoire structure. Schools will have the opportunity to book any of the three productions throughout the entire school year.
